a short description of project :

As you turn your head on the pillow you catch a faint whisper, your story is being told as you sleep, tomorrow another will lie here, listening.

about current work :

Moving through textiles, site-specific sculpture and text there is a multiplicity inherent in my work. This leaves me with a varied pool of interests, commitments and theoretical concerns, which on first glance may seem disparate but, on a closer inspection, connect at unexpected places and group to form a coherent body of work. I am currently concentrating on text and photographic works which explore the way we use personal encounters and stories to understand the world around us.

a brief biography :

Graduating from Sculpture at Glasgow School of Art in 2000, I create sculptural spaces out of a wide range of mediums. Originally trained in Textiles I have employed the techniques of weaving to alter the physicality of spaces alongside photography, new media, sound and text.
