| Film set the Mansions was an experiment of cinematic construction. The bar, transformed into a film set viewed through both the lens and the window commanded an audience of chance, the on lookers experiencing perhaps a work of fiction. Costumes, cameras, lights and makeup transported the space out of conventional time. In constant flux the performative piece had neither begining or end, the nameless characters played their filmic parts with a distance to outside reality and they played roles perhaps, of images that we have seen before in flims. |
