CURRENT
WORK :
I have a fascination in the
concepts of the kitsch and the beautiful, the artificial and the real. I
strive for a balance between these states and look for the areas in which
they overlap. I am also interested in drawing attention to the background
of our daily lives, picking out beauty and magic where it is generally goes
unnoticed.
My practise involves working in a hybridised
manner across all media, at times using an element of craft. I enjoy the
friction of using ordinary materials to make beautiful objects. I find
this richness in approach conveys very directly my enjoyment in making.

"Forever", July 2003, Post- it notes, Dimensions
