It is easy to take our environment for granted, to follow the proscribing influence of architecture on our behaviour and to believe in the fictionalised landscape that is presented to us through the media - a vicarious representation of utopia.

The psychological effect of this is that we view the world from an incredibly stereotypical perspective – almost becoming mere spectators of life, blindly obeying convention.

In the physical and mental wanderings through the scattered suburbs of my thoughts I hope to enable a new consciousness of the spaces which surround us.
