a preoccupation with insignificances
They said; Hey coffee cups can be more beautiful then fancy sculptures. A kiss in the morning can be more dramtic than a drama by Mr. Fancypants. The sloshing of my foot in my wet boot sounds more beautiful than fancy organ music. (In the Spirt of Fluxus).

No authorship is claimed of the piece. The person present in the shop front acts as little more than a tool , simply recording what is happening in the site. The piece is a collabration with the people and things that are present, than an expression of an artists individual creativity. The writing on the window is the mere documentation of the activity outside.

about the Artists Work;

Oh I don't know how they do it. Havin' the patience to sit there all day..all them words...aye I think its great. (old women in red coat, with big shopping bag in conversation with a young couple in the door way of the shop front.)

extract of the text from the shop window (mid afternoon on thursday);

old man leans against wall. Sky reflects off mirrors on buildings in distance. Red pole sticks out of bin. Boy on bike flicks water up off road as he cycles past. Taxi driver says hello to bus driver. Womens eyes peep out under umbrella. Leaves on trees move slightly with the wind. Man talks on moblie phone at crossing. Girl walks with large coat unzipped.
