ABOUT CURRENT WORK
:

Central to my current practise is a spatial awareness understood and defined by the interactions and relationships between figure and environment.

The body of work exhibited in June 03 (see images attached) involved the use of video as an essential part of the process and working method of my practise. I recorded the movement of a figure through or within a staged interior and then went on to use this footage as a source material from which to work from.

This explored ideas of contained space, using movement as a measurement of the infinite. New ideas are developing and new approaches are needed.
