IDEAS MOVE AWAY
FROM ABSTRACTION is a new public work by Ruth
Barker. Standing in the
shadow of John Knox and the Scottish Storytelling Centre, this site
specific installation will reference the selective breeding of plants
to examine the play between rigour and ephemerality within discourse.
Craig Coulthard presents
I Love You Means I Hate You, I Love You Means
I Love You. A musical performance or a
three-way battle of conscience held on Thursday 17 August from 6pm – 8pm.
The remains of the conflict will be left to decorate Yurta and the
surrounding garden.
Chris Walker’s intervention will take the form of drawings within
Yurta in the latter days of its stay in the Scottish Book Trust garden.

Murray, Colin Parker, Chris Walker, Paul Penrice and Juliana Capes
