DESCRIPTION
Using the shop window as my vantage point, I will spend time in the shop exploring new ideas - letting the outcome filter back through the window to be viewed from the street as it develops.
Currently researching the seductiveness of slow motion, I will be using the shop window as a form of membrane, experimenting with footage recorded from Bell Street and exploring the setting up of another speed zone within the shop space. PRACTICE
Part of my current practice has evolved from an interest in how experience of recorded images relates to our more tangible and physically involved experience of life. Exploring this I have focused on various forms of reflected images. Attempting to create a scenario for contemplation - the work has often taken the form of installation.
